The Eden biomes were banging with the sounds of live music, clapping hands, stomping feet and dancing shoes as the launch event of Bosom Buddies UK kicked off in May 2011.

The big gig included performances from six local bands who played for free.

Guests were given the chance to win a wheelbarrow from St Austell Brewery – not just any wheelbarrow – one filled to the brim with bottled beers.

The winning ticket was hidden inside one of the hundreds of pink and cream balloons that were handed out on the night, and guests were asked to pop their balloon in unison to see if they had won.

“I want to make the events that I organise special,” explained Pauline, “memorable and enjoyable, because in doing that they remember my charity.”
